comes with portable lessons. Small downside is that it is less advanced

technology (Compared to Tell Me More and Rosetta Stone).However,

overall it is the best product for an affordable price.

Overview

Rocket Spanish is almost tied with Tell Me More but it is less expensive, portable, fun and ease to use. It is one of the lesser known Spanish language programs, which is a surprise considering all that it has to offer (even a free 6 day trial). At the end of the day, Rocket Spanish is very credible and comes with dozens of customer recommendations.

Rocket Spanish is a program made for those who need to learn Spanish quickly and don't have much time to learn. You can take it with you in the car, on your lunch break or anywhere else you can bring your iPod or CD player. If you are a visual learner who wants to see words along with pictures and videos, then Rocket Spanish is good for you as well.

In addition to the brevity of the audio lessons, the interactive games and learning content are two major features of Rocket Spanish. A memory game named 'MegaCards' is used as an interactive self-progress application that is very effective in ensuring that you learn thoroughly. Additionally, Rocket Spanish comes with over 500 pages of exercises and helpful vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation resources.

Rocket Spanish software is designed with the beginner to intermediate learner in mind. If you are pretty good at Spanish and are looking to master the language, then we recommend going with Tell Me More, Rosetta Stone or Fluenz - they are more advanced programs.

Interactive Audio: Includes 31 audio tracks all of which are in MP3 format (burn to CD or sync with iPod). The length of these audio course ranges from 15 to 25 minutes in length. The creator, Mauricio Evalampieff (guy in the video above), is the narrator and does an excellent job. In the interactive audio lessons, you repeat words and phrases out loud.

Conversation Audio and Reading: Consists of 1,000 audio tracks that allow you to hear the Spanish as you read the Spanish. In order to hear a phrase/word spoken, you just click on the word within the readable text. Most of these words are geared toward travel and several common phrases.

Games - MegaVocab + MegaAudio: To practice vocab from the beginner through advanced books, there is MegaVocab and MegaAudio. These games allow you to develop your ability to recognize written and spoken Spanish. They are entertaining and keep you practicing.

Games - MegaCards: A game designed on the flashcard quiz style that tests you on the beginner and advanced level vocabulary (phrases and written words).

EBooks: Aside from the conversation audio ebook, there are the beginner and advanced books plus the vocabulary supplement booklet. Rocket Spanish's beginner ebook goes over the basic Spanish grammar skills like verb conjugation and masculine/feminine nouns. The advanced book goes over the different tenses like past, present and future tenses.

Rocket Spanish Student Forum: A really good forum (no SPAM) where students can discuss what they have learned and ask questions that some of the more advanced Spanish students can help them with.

Instruction Manual: Helps the first-time user create the right 'mindset' for learning Spanish and aids the user in setting concrete goals with steps to achieve those goals.
